This site is intended for informational and sharing purposes. It is where I will share some of my experiences, expertise, lessons
learned, lessons still being learned, insight and awareness, and wherever possible....humour.

As has been said many times before.... "laughter is the best medicine" so I try to keep that in all aspects of life...business included...

Who am I and what do I do? I live in beautiful central Ontario and currently work in government. I have actually been working in the
Canadian corporate sector for over 21 years wherein I have worked in numerous positions ranging from Office Management to
Administration Supervisor to Records Management.

In August 2008, I decided to take on a new challenge and launched my own 'Virtual' Internet Marketing Assistant Business. Why this
type of business and why now? I chose Internet Marketing because it is where I have enjoyed spending my time learning and also
because I truly believe it is one of the most exciting arenas to be involved in. The ability to build, develop and market a business
on-line is an exciting, (sometimes challenging!) but a very rewarding experience when done with knowledge and precision. It is exciting
because the environment keeps changing which means we all have to keep changing. It is challenging because of the endless
competition and the requirement to stay current in all of the web-based applications out there.....but it is fulfilling when things finally start
'clicking' and the business takes off and continues to grow. As to 'why now'? Why start my own business? Well, I have always been a
person who likes change. I thrive on new work environments, new responsibilities and new opportunities. So, now that my two children
have reached the post secondary age and are making their own way in this world, I now have a lot more time to focus on learning and
building something I can be proud of.

Most of all, I like the idea of staying connected with the entire world through the use of technology and expanding the otherwise small
world that many of us live in.
